2 Timothy 3:16 (RSV) 16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
However, one mistake MANY Christians make IS limiting themselves to ONLY the Bible, therefore, limiting their experience IN Christianity, as the BIBLE is NOT the SOLE source of revelations of truth from the Lord. The SOURCE of the WORD of God is the SPIRIT, Jesus As the SPIRIT, Jesus HIMSELF, who manifests TRUTH to others.

The Bible simply states what Doctrine is. Open the pages and read for YOURSELVES. WHAT does the Bible actually say and NOT what does someone ELSE say the Bible says.
ALL scripture is God breathed, therefore, inerrant since the SOURCE is God himself.
John 6:63 (RSV) 63 It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life
John 7:38-39 (RSV) 38 He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.’” 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, which those who believed in him were to receive; for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified
John 14:25-26 (RSV) 25 “These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
John 16:13 (RSV) 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Acts 1:8 (RSV) 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.”
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 (RSV) 10 God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For what person knows a man’s thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.
Galatians 1:11-12 (RSV) 11 For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not man’s gospel. 12 For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

From the link provided by Bear:
The Apostles' Creed in Modern English (From the Book of Common Prayer) I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
( *The word "catholic" in the Apostles' Creed refers not to the Roman Catholic Church, but to the universal church of the Lord Jesus Christ.)
The term CATHOLIC was a Greek term meaning universal and was used to describe the Church and it's distinction from Judaism.

Christianity began, referencing the New Testament , NOT when Jesus was born BUT AFTER he ascended into heaven and bestowed HIS SPIRIT upon his Apostles and followers at Pentecost (Book of Acts Chapter 2), @ 33AD.

John 14:25-26 (RSV) 25 “These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
Acts 2:1-3 (RSV) 1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
1 Corinthians 2:7-10 (RSV) 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But, as it is written,
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him,”
10 God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

2 Corinthians 5:4-5 (RSV) 4 For while we are still in this tent, we sigh with anxiety; not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

John 1:1 (NIV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 (NIV) 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
So in the beginning, the WORD was God, IS God became human and lived among us as one of us.

And on the sixth day God said, "Let Us make man in Our own image, after Our likeness, Genesis 1:27, when will so called Christians get that bit?? Rereading Sermon on the Mount/Plain and The Beatitudes surely would do these so called Christians to understand Christianity...................if they did persons wouldn't be so turned off on religion by their intolerance, judgment and bullying the antithesis of Christianity. The mass amount of atheists and low church attendance is your fault.

Yet we still take so much from the Old Testament and it's beliefs, which cannot be ignored.

The Old Testament basically is the preceding of the fulfilling of the covenant and the New testament period is the actual development of that covenant.

No it is not God's word, it is the word of hundreds of men through hundreds of years, who held that Bible over Christians head for 1400 plus years without them reading a word, hence the Reformation and a huge change in Christian beliefs because they lied and a lot. We don't have a Christian religion we have hundreds of Christian so called faiths who interpret words whatever way they want to that suits them. I can't dismiss the Old Testament, Christ was born a Jew and died a Jew.

Your words reveal a DEEP IGNORANCE about the topic and YOU need to do remedial work to familiarize yourself and be educated about the topic.

That's an example of circulus in probando, or circular reasoning. As such, it proves nothing.
