It seems telling and hearing both sides of a story is a rarity these days........kind of irritating.........even long time ago the whole story was hard to come by........ Which is why Paul Harvey's the rest of the story radio was so popular.......
A few of you old enough to remember the old movies where The guy in the black hat ie Black Bart was tying up a beautiful damsel and putting her on the railroad tracks and along comes some nut in a white hat on a white horse and runs Black Bart off and rescues the damsel and they ride off into the sunset and get married..........The rest of the story.......20 years later the guy in the white hat is tying her up and putting her back on the track where he found her and Black Bart is laughing his butt off pointing his finger saying "See, I told you so"............

Not, how about, "you complete me" or "just a girl standing in front of a boy" it isn't about being recused, never has been it's about being loved.

I notice more older people riding bicycles these days and of course it is billed as they are being healthy with good exercise..........true.......but the other half of the truth is most of those I know who ride bicycles got a DUI and lost their driver's license.......

Or in the case of retired seniors, they can no longer afford gas or the cost of maintaining a vehicle.

There are always four sides to a story: your side, their side, the truth and what really happened. — Jean Jacques Rousseau, 1712-1778,

Or in the case of retired seniors, they can no longer afford gas or the cost of maintaining a vehicle. Is that the HALF TRUTH of it? For some seniors on a fixed income (Soc. Sec.) it is the whole truth. Most of them live from paycheck to paycheck.

You should have thought of that before you moved there. Does the nearest market have a web site and a delivery service?

I like living where I do. We don't even have a law officer here. There are about maybe 20 of us living here. We are a real town because we have a pub........When we do go in to shop we shop for at least a couple of weeks at a time. I don't worry about having meat..........

Living on SS from paycheck to paycheck might not be so bad if you get the max but what about those recieving $1200 bucks a month who have to claim food stamps and medicaid(if you are in a certain state) and beg their families when they need new brakes for their car or their heating system goes out or you have no family help and you are facing 8k? What is the conservative reply after 40 or 50 yrs. of low paying jobs, typically jobs they worked their behind off, not good enough, you should have got more education....when the fact is a capitalist society promotes those in a low paying job.

Or in the case of retired seniors, they can no longer afford gas or the cost of maintaining a vehicle. Indeed, the cost of gas, maintenance, and don't forget, insuring a vehicle can take a significant bite out of one's income irrespective of one's age and/or retirement status. I know several young working folks with modest to fairly decent incomes who have chosen not to bother with the expenses of owning a vehicle. For a little over half of them their stated motive for not owning a vehicle is not so much about not being able to afford it, but to have a better quality of life in that they have more money to spend on enjoyable things and/or to invest. A side note: In Florida one can get a DUI riding a bike, and they will impound your bike.
