2 Timothy 3:16 (RSV) 16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
However, one mistake MANY Christians make IS limiting themselves to ONLY the Bible, therefore, limiting their experience IN Christianity, as the BIBLE is NOT the SOLE source of revelations of truth from the Lord. The SOURCE of the WORD of God is the SPIRIT, Jesus As the SPIRIT, Jesus HIMSELF, who manifests TRUTH to others.

I already copped to misusing hundreds of faiths for what meant were denoninations. If I've repeated it, I made a mistake, I screwed up, I was in error, I'm a shallow, commie loser with no common sense and Dear Abby will come out and beat me with a wet noodle..............

No big deal, when you make a mistake, you cop to it, that is how you learn and one is never to old to learn or say I made a mistake.

John 14:6-7 (RSV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also; henceforth you know him and have seen him.”

Very significant. When I was around 12 and and going through a very devout period, to where I wanted to be "nun like" I thought it was good enough to do good acts to achieve what God/Christ, my faith expected and to get to Heaven. As I aged I realized that wasn't good enough. "Knowing" the Father, is so much harder.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (RSV)
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God.

Getting off subject, being a Christian is not an easy row to hoe, you have to accept persons who are not like you or have your same beliefs.

Getting off subject, being a Christian is not an easy row to hoe, you have to accept persons who are not like you or have your same beliefs. Au Contraire. People misunderstand, misrepresent and misquote Christianity. Jesus kept company sometimes with thieves, prostitutes, etc. He didn't do that to support their activities. He did that so they could recognize they must TURN AWAY from those behaviors and REPENT. He said, " I have not come to call the virtuous, but sinners". ALSO Jesus FLATLY stated HE is the ONLY road to God and heaven. THIS is NOT fulfilled by embracing Hinduism, Buddhism, Shamanism etc. Acts 4:12 (DRA) 12 Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.1 Corinthians 1:22-24 (RSV) 22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Ephesians 1:22-23 (GNT) 22 God put all things under Christ's feet and gave him to the church as supreme Lord over all things. 23 The church is Christ's body, the completion of him who himself completes all things everywhere.

I realize he said turn away but He was not cruel, there is a huge difference. You are cruel. Matt 10:34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”
Matthew 23:16–17 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?”
Matthew 23:33 “You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell?”
Mark 9:42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.”
Luke 12:51 “Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.”

That really means nothing to the point of what it means to be Christian. "Snowflake" is a recent political term which has nothing to do with religion or faith, which does not bode well for you. I never thought it easy to accept those of a different sexuality, it is incredibly difficult and even for a liberal takes work. Interesting was Cher who struggled for years through her daughters gender on being a dude. It takes even for a liberal a lot of work and even then you can backslide. I've been guilty of making comments when I see persons dressed in costumes like Johnny Weir or in gay pride from SF to Nottinghill, London both which I attended several times. Then I think how many heterosexuals hide their sexual history and dudes in tutus' don't bother me so much.

I see you didn't address the Bible quotes I provided!

I don't know why you found that important. There are faiths in Christianity that go hard ass on people who are "sinning" there are faiths in the middle and there are faiths like mine who are chilled. You may take the hard row, being on the chilled road is what I find is closer to the word of God/Jesus and far easier to accept. If you can't accept everyone is made in God's image if you can't accept the words of Christ in tolerance, acceptance non judgement and foregiveness, there is nothing left. It has nothing to do with "me" it has to do with stepping up to the plate when you don't want to. That shows who you are as a Christian.

By the way, anyone can quote the Bible, you are not special, we all can look up quotes to post. You try to live "Christ like" or you post quotes............and don't.
