I should dearly love that the world should be ever so little better for my presence. Even on this small stage we have our two sides, and something might be done by throwing all one's weight on the scale of breadth, tolerance, charity, temperance, peace, and kindliness to man and beast. We can't all strike very big blows, and even the little ones count for something. -Arthur Conan Doyle, physician and writer (22 May 1859-1930)

Soldiers, when committed to a task, can't compromise. It's unrelenting devotion to the standards of duty and courage, absolute loyalty to others, not letting the task go until it's been done.

For most Americans, Friday afternoons are filled with positive anticipation of the weekend. In Washington, it's where government officials dump stories they want to bury.

Isn't it strange the better our country does the more upset liberals get?

I don't think that is close to true, it depends on your politics and if you cannot reach a poll of 50% for one day and then claim "liberals are upset" especially forgetting about the large number of Independents, means the majority are upset. If you want to claim lying false polls, then you have to claim all of them and note the fact Trump polls himself higher when he chooses to claim the polls support him.

Isn't it strange the better our country does the more upset liberals get? Is it, when you have a president who disses voters on tweets, rallies, tv? Or maybe one who takes his daughter and stupid ass son to a G20 where they ingratiate their selves to world leaders and the public?

your trump derangement syndrome is showing again, Katie... Sheesh. Baloney, conservatives didn't approve of Trump till he decided to run, we all know who he has been as a person for decades and before he was a republican, his political parties have been varied from one extreme to the other, including being a dem, it is the flavor of the day for him, you don't get him at all, do you not remember if he wasn't accepted by the republican party, he'd run without you(stupid and done that) He is self serving and republicans fell for it, starting with his birther crap, to the evangelicals to those who have a problem with immigration. I never said he was dumb.

Trump was the nominee for the GOP, the alternative was HRC. I would vote for you before ever voting for HRC. Trump was the only viable choice for me. We didn't hire him for his past we hired him for what he said he would do.

That has not escaped me, neither has this wasn't Trumps first dip into politics, he picks the flavour of the day, just as he threatened to leave the republican party if they didn't support him for president. The past can or not make a difference, to ignore it altogether, isn't the most brightest thing a voter can do. My issue is, knowing where Trump placed on your list and on that huge stage, how did he end up winning? He is one person, I don't care if you are a dem, repub or whatever they all are replaceable and often far better than what we are offered. I switched from Clinton to Obama for a reason in 2008, in 2016 I looked at a paltry 3 people on stage and said, this is it, this is what I got. By what is on stage for dems now, I would say they learned a lesson.

They're still going to lose in 2020. They may lose both houses of congress, too, which wouldn't break my heart....

your trump derangement syndrome is showing again, Katie... Sheesh. C'mon, you know who he was and who he is, everyone does. That you accepted the indefensible because of politics don't lay some conservative label of "Trump derangement syndrome" on me, he is who he is and who he has proven himself to be for decades. Nasty, a liar, a cheat, a rip off, arrogant, self serving, all the worse traits a human man can have. That you agree with his politics, looses it's meaning with a man like him. You had far better persons on that stage in 2016 and you will reap what you sow, he is going to lose, big time.

There is not single person in the idiotcratic party Primaries that I would trust to be President of the USA. They all want to limit my freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution in some way.
